Parliament Hill Days 2023

October 16-18, 2023

Parliament HILL DAYS is an annual in-person series of advocacy meetings with Parliamentarians and federal departmental officials. Taking place in Ottawa, October 16-18, 2023, HILL DAYS is an important opportunity to shine a light on issues facing the tourism industry as a whole, including important sectors such as business meetings and events.

HILL DAYS is led by the Tourism Industry Association of Canada (TIAC) and attended by MMBC and business events industry executives.

Here’s what MMBC is doing to advocate on behalf of
Canada’s business events industry during Hill Days 2023

> We’re meeting with Parliamentarians and federal department officials to reiterate the importance of the meetings industry to Canada’s economy, the issues we face and the support our industry still requires.

> PR agency tartanbond is connecting MMBC with national and regional media outlets to help tell our industry’s important story.

> We’re tapping into TIAC’s advocacy expertise and amplifying MMBC messaging through TIAC’s communication channels.

> We’ve created a tool kit that industry members can use to promote awareness of the business events industry.
